You have the ability to review, edit, and delete inventory receipts, adjustments, and transfers that have not been posted. Because posted inventory transactions cannot be edited, automatically posting inventory transactions is not recommended.
To post inventory transactions manually, disable the Automatically Post Inventory Receipts/Adjustments option on the Inventory System Setup window (from Orders, select Set up module, and click Inventory).
To edit product inventory transactions
1. From Orders, select Manage inventory> Enter and edit receipts and adjustments to open the Enter and edit receipts and adjustments window.
2. Open the product inventory transaction (see Opening and finding inventory transactions) you want to edit.
3. Click Edit.
4. Make any necessary changes.
5. Click Save.
To delete product inventory transactions
1. From Orders, select Manage inventory> Enter and edit receipts and adjustments to open the Enter and edit receipts and adjustments window.
2. Open the product inventory transaction you want to delete.
3. Click Delete. A message displays prompting you to verify deleting the transaction.
4. Click Yes to delete the inventory transaction.
